PROJECT STATUS
Progress Made: we currently have 80% of the material already filmed for the Green Hell documentaryfilm. Filming has been carried out in multiple languages —English, German, and Spanish— and includes interviews with various experts and researchers of the story, who have contributed valuable perspectives on the historical, technical, and human context of the Sikorsky aircraft rescue and the lives of its protagonists.
Documentary Material: we have compiled testimonies, photographic archives, personal diaries, and historical documents that enrich the narrative and allow us to faithfully reconstruct the events of 1934, as well as the lives of those involved in this extraordinary story.
GOAL: COMPLETE FILMING IN THE UNITED STATES
Main Objective: complete filming in the United States, specifically in the state of New Jersey, where fundamental resources are located to close this chapter of the investigation.
Key Locations:
Interviews with the Marshall family: Conversations with direct family members, particularly with Doug Marshall, grandson of Newton C. Marshall (M.C. Marshall), the sole survivor of the Sikorsky aircraft disaster.
Museum in New Jersey: Visit and filming at the museum that houses archives and objects related to M.C. Marshall’s story and aviation of the era.
ESTADO DEL PROYECTO
Avances realizados: actualmente contamos con el 80% del material ya rodado del documental Green Hell. Las filmaciones se han llevado a cabo en varios idiomas —inglés, alemán y español— e incluyen entrevistas con diversos conocedores e investigadores de la historia, quienes han aportado perspectivas valiosas sobre el contexto histórico, técnico y humano del rescate del avión Sikorsky y la vida de sus protagonistas.
Material documental: hemos recopilado testimonios, archivos fotográficos, diarios personales y documentos históricos que enriquecen la narrativa y nos permiten reconstruir con fidelidad los acontecimientos de 1934, así como las vidas de quienes estuvieron involucrados en esta extraordinaria historia.
META: COMPLETAR EL RODAJE EN ESTADOS UNIDOS
Objetivo principal: terminar el rodaje en Estados Unidos, específicamente en el estado de Nueva Jersey, donde se encuentran recursos fundamentales para cerrar este capítulo de la investigación.
