PROYECCIÓN
El Haus der Jugend – Centro de Cultura e Idioma Alemanas fue escenario de una emotiva proyección del documental histórico Infierno Verde, que rescata memorias poco conocidas del pasado colombiano. La obra narra el extraordinario rescate, ocurrido en 1934, del primer avión accidentado en las selvas del Chocó, una hazaña que marcó un hito en la aviación nacional y en la cooperación entre comunidades locales y actores internacionales.
La actividad incluyó un conversatorio con Wilhelm Klein, protagonista del documental, donde los estudiantes del centro compartieron impresiones y conocieron de primera mano los desafíos y aprendizajes detrás de esta historia que sigue resonando por su valor humano, técnico y cultural. El encuentro generó un espacio de diálogo intercultural que enriqueció la experiencia formativa de los asistentes.
El evento reafirma el compromiso del Haus der Jugend con la memoria histórica y el fortalecimiento de los vínculos culturales entre Colombia y Alemania, promoviendo el intercambio de conocimientos y la valoración del patrimonio común entre ambas naciones.

HAUS DER JUGEND
SCREENING
The Haus der Jugend – German Culture and Language Center was the setting for a moving screening of the historical documentary Green Hell, which rescues little-known memories of the Colombian past. The work narrates the extraordinary rescue, which occurred in 1934, of the first aircraft crashed in the jungles of Chocó, a feat that marked a milestone in national aviation and in cooperation between local communities and international actors.
The activity included a conversation with Wilhelm Klein, protagonist of the documentary, where students from the center shared impressions and learned firsthand about the challenges and lessons behind this story that continues to resonate for its human, technical and cultural value. The encounter generated a space for intercultural dialogue that enriched the formative experience of the attendees.
The event reaffirms the Haus der Jugend’s commitment to historical memory and the strengthening of cultural ties between Colombia and Germany, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the appreciation of the common heritage between both nations.
